Lodging information
Room blocks have been secured at three downtown Madison hotels for conference attendees. When contacting one of the conference hotels to make a reservation, please ask for a room in the Great Lakes Forest Alliance conference block.
All three hotels are within walking distance of the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center. The conference room blocks (with special conference rates) close on May 22, 2008.
Please make your room reservations as soon as possible.

General Information
The Conference Registration Booth is located on the main floor (4th floor) of the Convention Center. The hours of operation are as follows: 4:00 pm - 7:45 pm on Monday, June 23 and 7:00 - 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June 24.

The conference will be supplying Internet kiosks to check your email on Monday night and Tuesday. Hours will be posted in the conference program.
General Parking Information
Monona Terrace features a 600-space, cashier-operated parking structure, which is accessible via East Wilson St. and the eastbound lanes of John Nolen Drive.
Parking at the Monona Terrace ramp is $1.00/hour Monday-Friday. All day parking on Saturday and Sunday (no in and out access) is $3.00.

Short-term and all-day public parking is provided throughout downtown Madison in various structures and lots. On-street parking is also available for short term
parking in central Madison.
Parking structure entrance tickets entitle you to unlimited free rides on any Metro bus in the downtown area (bounded by Breese Terrace, Regent St. and Blair St). Just show your parking structure entrance ticket to the Metro driver, and you’ll ride for free.

The Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center is fully wheelchair accessible.
Accessible Parking
Monona Terrace is accessible from Levels Three, Four and Five. There are two places to enter the parking ramp. From West Wilson Street, just south of Carroll Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (View Monona Terrace Parking Map and look for Visitors Entrance and Drive-through drop-off), or from John Nolen Drive.
Disabled parking stalls are available at no cost for Monona Terrace event parking on the upper (top of the parking ramp). Drive through drop-off level parking meter areas on both sides of Monona Terrace. Disabled parking stalls are available for a charge on the lower parking level in front of the Level Three entrance. Curb cuts are located in close proximity to accessible parking and make travel to the building convenient.

Monona Terrace Wireless Access
Wireless access is available throughout the Monona Terrace building and the rooftop gardens. If you have a laptop, Pocket PC or other device with 802.11b or 802.11g wireless capability, you can log onto the Monona Terrace wireless network. Two speed options are available, free 28k connections, or paid 768k connections. Open your internet browser and you will be redirected automatically to the login page where you can view the available wireless networks and make your selection.
